About SA Foundation

SA Foundation, since 2020, closely worked with deprived women and empowers them by providing them with livelihood services and imparting skills leading to training and employment facilities. We build on our credibility and ability to deliver results and expand across the ‘share of people’s day-to-day’ pain through multiple initiatives. SA Foundation is running under Janardhan Memorial Trust.

The struggle is against many odds and limitations imposed on them by society and the economy, while development activities strengthen women’s bargaining power and offer them new alternatives that further their self-reliance.

Our skill development programmes not only equip women with skills to seek jobs and build careers but also to become entrepreneurs. We support women entrepreneurs in building their businesses by providing them with the necessary guidance and support.

We conduct market-oriented, demand-driven livelihood opportunity training in project areas like beauticians, English and soft skills, computer skills, and Retail courses.

Vision & Mission

Vision

To build Women, sustainable and equitable in society.
• Strengthening collectives of women to improve and upgrade living and working environments in their communities.
• Provide full employment opportunities that provide economic security, food security, and social security.
• To develop women’s grassroots institutions and build their knowledge and capacities to engage with decision-making on issues that concern their communities and cities

Mission

• We aim to make women self-reliant and raise the standard of their living by imparting skills, providing them training and a platform to avail of employment opportunities. Based on the assumptions that women differ from men in their social positions, “women’s empowerment” refers to the process of increasing women’s access to control over the strategic life choices that affect them and access to the opportunities that allow them fully to realize their capacities.
• Self-reliance aims to support women towards being autonomous and self-reliant both economically and in terms of their decision-making ability.
